VIP is the main paid tier: unlimited messaging, read receipts, advanced filters and priority placement. VIP+ adds top-of-feed placement, Super Match introductions, travel mode and the weekend boost. If you are not sure, start with VIP and upgrade later if you want the extras.
Yes, anytime. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, then it does not renew. Your free account stays put.
